Capacity Building & Knowledge Transfer

Learning, operating and evaluating
Training is an integral component of the research design because the viability of a production system depends not only on technology, but also on the skills required to operate and adapt it.
AQUAFLY capacity building
Stakeholders receive basic training and regular refresher courses on facility operation and food processing. In parallel, the project evaluates the professional development of farm managers and supports the academic training of early-career researchers.
The new experimental systems therefore serve both as production infrastructure and as environments for practical learning and systematic evaluation.
Pilot activities vs. AQUAFLY research: photographs on this page show existing pilot activities and demonstrate previous experience with hands-on learning. They should not be read as documentation of completed activities in the two new AQUAFLY systems.
